ZED TALKZ 2026 – State Level Sustainability Practitioners Competition

Competition Format

• Type: Individual short talk (TED-style)
• Duration: 3–5 minutes per speaker
• Language: English
• Presentation: Live on stage (no reading from paper)
• Visual Aids: Props allowed

Eligibility

• Open to students of Grades 6–12.
• Each school may nominate up to 3 students.

Grade-Wise Topics (Choose ONLY Your Grade Topic)

• Grade 6 – Awareness & Responsibility:
  My Daily Habits, My Planet: How a Student Can Become a Young Sustainability Hero.
• Grade 7 – Mindful Consumption:
  The Power of My Choices: How Simple Decisions Reduce Waste and Protect Nature.
• Grade 8 – Community Thinking:
  My School, My Community: How Students Can Create a Zero-Waste Campus.
• Grade 9 – Innovation & Problem-Solving:
  Smart Solutions for a Green Future: How Students Can Use Ideas & Technology to Save the Planet.
• Grade 10 – Climate & Social Impact:
  Climate Change Through My Eyes: What I Can Do Today to Protect Tomorrow.
• Grade 11 – Ethical Leadership & Sustainability Mindset:
  From Awareness to Action: Why Sustainability Mindset Is the New Leadership Skill.
• Grade 12 – Global Citizenship & Future Readiness:
  My Role in a Sustainable World: How Today’s Students Can Create Tomorrow’s Green Economy.

General Guidelines

• Private & Mahatma school students: Registration fee ₹200.
• Government school students: Free registration.
• Each participant must be accompanied by a staff member or guardian.
• Strictly no paper reading on stage.
