Zha Sustainability Practitioners Club (ZSPC) organization structure, outlining the responsibilities for each board and how members are promoted within the hierarchy:
After serving as a member of Students Tree or Professionals Tree, of any region, Our Tree ZSPC Tree Administrators and Strategic Board, will assess your Sustainability Mindset Maturity, also in terms of ZSPC values such as Commitment, Integrity, Openness, Respect, Adaptability, Continuous Improvement.

Generic Board

  • Primary Role:
  • The entry point for members who have demonstrated executive maturity in collaborations based on sustainability values and principles.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Voting on Feedback: This board votes on ideas, suggestions, and projects initiated by other boards, contributing essential feedback.

    Initial Review: Members evaluate programs, provide feedback, and help refine decisions from higher boards.

  • Promotion:
  • Members showing consistent contributions and alignment with sustainability principles are nominated to move to the Advisory Board.

Advisory Board

  • Primary Role:
  • Focuses on providing expert insights, recommendations, and polling members for collective input to guide the organization’s direction.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Advise: Offers guidance on long-term vision and current initiatives, especially based on sustainability best practices.

    Poll: Gathers opinions and feedback from various stakeholders (students, professionals, partners) on strategic decisions.

    Suggest: Recommends new initiatives, improvements, or changes in ZSPC policies, partnerships, or programs.

  • Promotion:
  • Individuals who consistently provide actionable insights and demonstrate leadership can be promoted to the Strategic Board.

Strategic Board

  • Primary Role:
  • Comprised of high-level leaders, such as CEOs, Governors, and Directors, who take ownership of key projects and oversee the implementation of strategies.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Solutions: Develops innovative solutions to sustainability challenges aligned with ZSPC’s vision.

    Strategies: Designs and approves strategies to achieve sustainability goals.

    Plan: Outlines concrete action plans for projects, events, and initiatives.

    Implement: Ensures the execution of plans and oversees day-to-day operations, in collaboration with lower boards.

    Follow-up: Tracks the progress of initiatives, measuring success and making adjustments where necessary.

    Ownership: High-level leaders take responsibility for overseeing specific areas (e.g., partnerships, events, or specific sustainability initiatives).

  • Promotion:
  • Senior leaders on this board demonstrate the ability to lead impactful initiatives and achieve ZSPC’s sustainability goals.

Co-founders Board

  • Primary Role:
  • The core leadership group of ZSPC, responsible for high-level decision-making, partnerships, and major initiatives.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Key Leadership Roles: Takes charge of defining ZSPC’s mission and direction, guiding the long-term strategy of the club.

    Facilitate CSR Initiatives: Partners with corporate entities and other organizations to facilitate corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs that align with ZSPC’s goals.

    Secure Funds: Identifies funding opportunities and secures financial resources to support ZSPC projects and initiatives.

    Explore New Opportunities: Constantly seeks new partnerships, collaborations, and innovations to expand ZSPC’s influence and impact.

Promotion Path

Entry: Members begin in the Generic Board after demonstrating maturity in sustainability values and collaborative efforts.

Promotion: Based on active contribution and alignment with ZSPC’s principles, members are promoted to the Advisory Board, then the Strategic Board, and may eventually be invited to join the Co-founders Board if they show leadership and key impact.

This structure ensures a flow of talent and leadership within the ZSPC, where members grow based on their contributions to sustainability, gradually taking on greater responsibilities as they move through the different boards.
